THE SANCTUARY- a proposal for Zoological Society London

This project offered opportunity to investigate function and learn about the principles of how buildings are designed to accommodate the needs of people. By investigating the ways in which diverse users interact with the built interior (function, ergonomics, meaning, identity, personal and social activities) I tested, adapted, changed and improvde my design-in-progress with  increasing considerations of how the components of interior space (form, light, materials, details) can be manipulated to produce appropriate spatial qualities and atmosphere for a particular programme and context.
